Cameron Hospital staff are aiming for further fundraising success after raising more than two and a half thousand pounds towards the creation of a dementia garden last year.

The money, which was raised through ticket sales, donations and a raffle at a formal Ball in Markinch, has already been earmarked for improving garden space at the site and turning it into an area where dementia patients, their relatives and visitors can go.

This year’s fundraiser, which is open to staff members and the general public, will take place at the Balbirnie Hotel, Markinch, on October 23.

Tickets can be bought from Vivienne Davidson on 01592 226 701.
