GLASWEGIAN Carly Connor has been performing live since she was 11 years old and for the last two years, since moving to London she’s been writing and perfecting her debut album.
This weekend she comes to Dunfermline as part of her summer tour.
Drawing on influences such as Janis Joplin and early Tina Turner records, Carly’s work has been shaped in part by her Glasgow childhood.
At the age of just 19, she has already racked up an impressive live resume having supported The View and Paolo Nutini on tour, and last year she worked with top producers Angelo Petraglia and Daniel Ledinsky.
Carly will be embarking on an extensive European tour later this year, but for now, if you want to check out her unique and powerful voice she’s playing at PJ Molloy’s tomorrow (Friday).
