Celebrating the best of Fife’s firms

The Fife Business Awards, which launched on Monday, promise to be bigger and better than ever before.

The bi-annual awards, now in their 10th year, are open to businesses of all sizes in all sectors operating in Fife. The range of award categories – including the Tourism award and Outstanding Performing Business – has been designed to be fully accessible to all businesses.

Chris Parr, chairman of the Fife Economy Partnership, the principal sponsor of the Awards, said: “There is a large number of tremendous businesses in Fife and we hope as many as possible put themselves forward in one or more categories.

“The profile associated with these awards is highly attractive but so too is the motivational impact they provide to newly-formed businesses and to those who may be considering starting their own business.”  

Grateful to all sponsors, Fife Chamber president John Silcocksaid the ceremony provided a great chance celebrate the success of all sizes of Fife businesses.

The Mail’s sister title, the Fife Free Press, is the Awards’ media partner, and editor Allan Crow added: “It’s a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the successful and innovative businesses at the very heart of the Kingdom’s economy.’’

The Awards take place on March 19 next year at Rothes Halls, Glenrothes, and guests will be welcomed with a drinks reception followed by the Awards dinner, hosted by Fred MacAulay.
