The Flying Fifers continued their 2014 fundraising for Poppy Scotland by competing recently in Tough Mudder at Dalkeith Country Park.

And one of their team, which has a strong Levenmouth contingent, is taking part in the Queens Commonwealth Baton Relay.

The squad consisted of Thomas Bremner, Sandy Cunningham, Steven Bone, Mark Young, Darren Davidson, Lana Paterson, Ben Paterson, Callum Connolly, Thomas Bremner Snr (aged 63) and Lynsey Guidi.

Darren tackled it on the Saturday and Sunday, raising money for both Poppy Scotland and CHSS charities.

Thomas Bremner, of Kennoway, will take part in the Baton Relay, in recognition of his charity ventures, running his leg in Anstruther.
