There was a very successful ‘end’ to events at Buckhaven Bowling Club after a charity night in aid of Autism Rocks (Fife).
An evening of songs, bingo, raffles and more raised a total of £1300 for the charity group, which is seeking to provide a custom-built support centre in Levenmouth to treat autism and offer help to families affected by condition.
Chairman and founder Liza Quin, of Methil, was very grateful to all who helped organise the event, including the bowling club and Burts Bar in Buckhaven, along with Tesco and Asda.
“Also, all the performers on the night and everyone who showed up to support our cause,” she said. “It was a fantastic night and very successful. We also had the chance to raise a lot of awareness about autism within the community.” Pictured at the event are a couple of the revellers, Garry and Kelly Reilly.
