If you could spare a couple of hours a week a Leven charity shop would be very glad of your help.

The role would be perfect for anyone who enjoys the buzz of bargain hunting and would like to see what it’s like on the other side of the counter?

Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland’s shop at 5 Durie Street urgently needs volunteers to help sort and price donations and serve customers.

Volunteer drivers are also needed to collect stock from donors in the community. The shop helps raise funds to support the charity’s work of improving the quality of life for people in Scotland affected by chest, heart and stroke illness.

Shop manager Ailsa Wilson explained: “We’ve had tremendous support from people in Leven but still need more volunteers to help run the shop.

“Perhaps you have spare time on your hands or would like to get some retail experience to improve your CV. Why not come along and join our friendly volunteer team? You’d have a great time and the satisfaction of making a real difference to the lives of people in your local community.

“Full training is provided as well as out of pocket expenses.”
