The congregation of Wellesley Parish Church in Methil is looking forward to a return visit from one of the area’s most talented singers.
Charlotte Whittle is a very gifted soprano singer and she will be joined by other talented musicians in a concert for Valentine’s weekend in Wellesley Parish Church, on Friday, February 13, starting at 7pm.
There will be a large variety of styles of songs, from show songs to opera, with something for everyone.
Charlotte, a former pupil at Waid Academy, graduated from the Conservatoire of Scotland and, since then, has sung in Italy and Switzerland as well as throughout the UK.
Wellesley Parish Church is delighted that Charlotte, as a local girl, has agreed to come back following her successful Christmas concert in 2013.
The songs she will sing speak of love in all its forms, and the audience is guaranteed an evening that will move and inspire.
The concert is in aid of the Church’s Hall Development Fund which will support new facilities for the church and community.
Tickets are available from Mary Reilly on 01333 423092 or Elizabeth McGuire on 01333 423551, or you can pay at the door on the night, and the price includes light refreshments.
Last year, Charlotte offered one-on-one singing lessons at Waid Community Use, while early in 2013, she gave a recital and masterclass in Anstruther Church.
