Tea Dance: KINGHORN Church hall is the venue for a Tea Dance this Saturday. The event will take place from 2.00 p.m. until 4.00 p.m. Admission is £2, including tea and biscuits.
Musical event: MEMBERS of Whytescauseway Baptist Church in Kirkcaldy are staing ‘The Daniel Jazz - Take 2’ at the church on Saturday at 2.00 p.m. The musical will tell the story of Daniel from the bible and his survival in the lions’ den. The performance will be followed by light refreshments in the church hall. Admission is free but donations for church funds are welcome. It should be noted this event may be unsuitable for under-threes because of the loud roaring of lions.
Coffee morning: ST Bryce Kirk Guild is hosting a coffee morning on Saturday from 10.00 a.m until noon. Stalls include cake and candy, bric-a-brac, plants, guess the weight of the cake and a quiz. Admission is £1.50 including tea/coffee and cakes. All are welcome.
Holy Week: A SERIES of special Holy Week services will be held at churches around Kirkcaldy. The joint services between the churches end the season of Lent and lead up to Good Friday and the Easter Sunday service. The services will take plcae at: Abbotshall Church on Tuesday, April 3; Linktown Church on Wednesday, April 4; Bennochy Church on Thursday, April 5 and St Bryce Kirk on Friday, April 6. The services will be held at 7.00 p.m each day.
Bargain Bonanza: THE Salvation Army in Burntisland is hosting a Bargain Bonanza Sale on Saturday, April 7. The event will take place at the Salvation Army Hall from 10.00 a.m until 2.00 p.m. There will be sale tables, including jewellery and hot food available. Come along and grab a bargain.
