WITH the later stages of summer approaching, volunteers are keeping their outdoor activities under a CLEAR focus.

The Buckhavenbased Community-Led Environmental Action for Regeneration group is still busy with its range of ongoing maintenance and new planting activities.

Twice-weekly events have been continuing at the Community Growing space, while upkeep has been carried out at Levenmouth Printers and Library orchards, Water Baulk hedgerow and Bank Corner flower beds.

Two draft heritage trails have been produced, while CLEAR is seeking input before finalising them and seeking hardware, such as interpretation panels, and more.

Today (Wednesday), there is fruit gathering and preserving event in the early evening, while next Wednesday sees a fruit tree budding session.

More information on all CLEAR activities is available at www.clearfife.org.uk or telephoning 01592 713078.
