Drugs squad officers from Fife Police seized heroin with a street value of £25,000 following an operation in the Cumbernauld area.
The operation was aimed at disrupting the supply of controlled drugs to communities in the Kingdom, a force spokesman said.
Crime managementdepartment chief, detective superintendent Colin Beattie, said: “We continue to work proactively, both locally and nationally, to target drug dealers who cause significant harm in our communities.
“We are committed to tackling those who are involved in serious and organised crime.”
“We made a pledge in our policing plan to reduce the harm illegal drugs inflict on individuals and communities.
“This demonstrates the force’s commitment to recovering increased quantities of illegal drugs and identifying those people involved in the supply to the most vulnerable within our communities.”
Two men, aged 38 and 33 years-old and a woman who is 23, all from Glenrothes, were scheduled to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court in connection with the seizure.
