RESIDENTS from Ladywalk House, Anstruther, had a clean sweep with their entries in the recent Leven and District Gardens and Allotments Show, winning three first place rosettes, two thirds and a fourth.

Debbie Thomson, Unit Manager said: “Everyone thoroughly enjoyed participating and this was a great reward for all the hard work. We are all really delighted for those who participated, and are pleased that service users continue to enjoy a positive experience at Ladywalk House.

“Being able to take part in community events such as the Leven and District Gardens and Allotments Show means such a lot for those using our services and to meet with such success is fantastic.”

Resident Euan Colquhoun, who has had to learn to paint with his left hand after experiencing ill health, was delighted to win first prize.

Margaret Dalling, also one of the residents, said: “We have all really enjoyed the experience and, hopefully we can repeat our success next year.”
