Appeal for witnesses after Leven break-in

Police in Fife are appealing for witnesses following a break-in and theft from a house in Leven.

The incident happened sometime between 12.30am and 7am yesterday (Tuesday) at a property in Kennoway Road.

Afterwards entry was forced to a garage a blue Yamaha Y12X off-road motorcycle was stolen.

Officers are now conducting local inquiries to trace the vehicle and identify those responsible.

Anyone with information is asked to come forward.

Detective sergeant Paula Warrender from Levenmouth CID said: “As part of our inquiries we are keen to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity in Kennoway Road on Tuesday morning, or who saw this motorcycle being driven off from the area.

“In addition, anyone who can help us return the motorcycle to its rightful owners and apprehend the culprits is urged to contact police immediately.”
