Children in Kirkcaldy’s Victoria Hospital were treated to an amusing pantomime performance recently of a story with local origins, ‘Robinson Crusoe’, by the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

Lots of singalong songs, cheers and laughter were heard in the paediatrics’ outpatient department as four actors from the national charity performed to lift the spirits of poorly youngsters from the children’s ward, their families and staff.

The new adaptation of the children’s classic was interactive to maximise involvement from the young patients, making sure it was as fun as possible.
