Cupar’s former Clydesdale bank property has been snapped up quickly, it would appear.
The prominent building, in St Catherine Street, went on the market shortly after closing a few months ago and is now ‘under offer.’
It is being marketed by chartered surveyors D. M. Hall, who were seeking offers of about £18,000 for the lease of the property.
The Clydesdale announced in March that they were axing a number of branches deemed “unsustainable.”
Bank bosses pledged that frontline jobs would be protected, with any displaced branch managers given support
Purpose-built as a bank, the two-storey detached building comprises a reception and service area, a main banking hall, strong room, meeting / interview rooms and ancillary staff accommodation.
