Cyclist rushed to hospital following crash

A cyclist has been rushed to hospital after a road traffic accident in Kirkcaldy.

The cyclist was taken to Victoria Hospital after being involved in an accident with a Vauxhall Corsa early this morning (Tuesday).

Police Scotland say the man is in a stable condition.

The incident occurred at around 6.50am on Carberry Road and left the cyclist with serious injuries.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police in Kirkcaldy attended a road traffic collision on Carberry Road today between a red Vauxhall Corsa and a cyclist.”

Police Scotland encourage anyone who witnessed the incident or can assist officers with their inquiry to call 101.
