Two more big names are heading to Fife for live gigs - this weeks saw dates confirmed by Barbara Dickson and Frank Turner.

Dickson is at Rothes Halls on February 21, 2015, while Turner plays the Alhambra Theatre, Dunfermline, on September 25 - the only Scottish date on his tour.

They’re the latest top names to hit the stage in the Kingdom in what ha been a busy year for all our leading theatres.

For Dickson, the gig is a return to her roots,.

Born in Dunfermline she has enjoyed chart success as well as critical acclaim in the theatre.

Her career spans some four decades and includes chart success with ‘Caravans’ and ‘Another Suitcase In Another Hall’ and the duet ‘I Know Him So well’ with Elaine Paige,

Her 2015 show will see her perform all her classic hits.

Turner, meanwhile, is touring in September and includes the Alhambra as his sole Scottish date.

The English folk/punk singer-songwriter made his name as lead singer with Million Dead until they split in 2005, when he headed out on his own in a largely acoustic solo career.

Since then he has released five solo albums the most recent being in April 2013.
