Communities in the East Neuk are preparing to host their annual fireworks celebrations.
Final preparations for the Elie firework display at Ruby Bay on Saturday, November 1 are well under way.
Admission is £5 for adults and £2 for children.
Good viewing positions are also available from the harbour area where admission charges will also apply.
The bonfire will be lit at 6.30 p.m. before the fireworks display.
Refreshments will be on sale along with things that glow in the dark.
And organisers are advising those attending to wrap up warm and bring a torch.
Elsewhere in the East Neuk, the community fireworks display in Anstruther will take place on Wednesday, November 5.
The fireworks will be set off from the harbour wall beside the lifeboat shed.
The free event is being organised by the East Neuk o’ Fife Round Table and has been funded by local groups including Anstruther Community Council, the Community Kist, Fife Council, the East Neuk Centre Trust and the East Neuk o’ Fife Round Table.
Fire posts will be lit at 7.00 p.m. before lanterns are released at 7.15 p.m and the fireworks begin at 7.30 p.m.
Organisers of both events are warning members of the public not to bring their own sparklers or fireworks as they are not allowed.
