Celebrating its 10th anniversary this summer, the East Neuk Festival gets under way this weekend.
Top class music, literature and art is served up in a variety of guises between June 27 and July 6, with the festival linked to Homecoming Scotland 2014.
One of its most popular attractions each year is the huge sand sculpture created by the talented Sand In Your Eye team.
In past years, steam engines, a pilgrim ship, the Isle of May and a giant bust of Beethoven have taken shape outside the Honeypot Tearoom in Crail.
This year, the work of art will be a larger-than-life reclining rhinocerus.
Elsewhere, an opening weekend of classical jazz will be followed by an imaginatively-devised programme of concerts with music by a range of classical composers.
There will be talks by leading authors, art exhibitions, and more.
