It’s still seven months away but the East Neuk Festival (ENF) has already announced its 2015 music programme.

Nine days in June next year will see a festival feast of music unfold on a time-travelling theme with strings at its heart.

There will be a host of world-class artists making their debut at the festival including violinist Hugo Ticciati traditional fiddler Duncan Chisholm, and violist Maxim Rysanov. The World renowned Bretano Quartet will also be putting in an appearance along with the acclaimed young Calidore Quartet.

The festival opens with a jazz weekend featuring the Gwilym Simcock Trio and the Budapest Cafe Orchestra.

Events come to a climax with the world premiere of an ENF commissioned work from Pulitzer prize-winning composer John Luther Adams.

A retreat for young musicians, art and a littoral are also included in the event.

The ENF runs from June 27-July 5 2015 - more information is available at www.eastneukfestival.com.
