It will be party time for the East Neuk Festival this summer as it notches up its tenth anniversary.
Renowned for its trademark chamber music concerts with the world’s top musicians and writing events, the festival this year is getting even more creative with dancing, singing, storytelling and painting for children and families.
Crail Community Hall will be the hub for a family day packed with activities on June 28.
One of the biggest attractions again promises to be the giant sand sculptures, which will take shape in Crail High Street,
New to the festival this year as part of the anniversary celebrations is a major exhibition in St Andrews featuring works by Scotland’s most celebrated artists from the past 150 years.
‘Fife in the Frame’ will show how the East Neuk’s distinctive character has inspired leading painters over the years.
The East Neuk Festival runs from June 27 to July 6 while the ‘Fife in the Frame’ exhibition, which will be held in St Andrews Museum, is from May 31 to August 24.
