‘TUNE into Autism’ with Anderson McGinty Webster Ward and Fisher takes place at Falkland Village Hall on Saturday, July 6.
This Dundee-based band will perform their energetic repetoir of blues, folk and rock to raise funds for Scottish Autism’s music therapy programmes.
With their infectious energy and rootsy acoustics they employ a vast array of instruments from guitars, double-bass, banjo, mandolin, harmonium, piano and trumpet with superb versatility.
‘Tune into Autism’ is an initiative that raises funds for music therapy and is spearheaded by volunteers, Hannah Currie, Angus McGuire, Leanne Mabberley and Ian Harrower. Tickets priced £10 can be bought from Ticketweb or at the door. There will be a raffle and people can bring their own bottle.
Shona Sinclair, fundraising manager, said: “Huge thanks must go to the hard-working volunteeers and musicians who understand how important and beneficial music therapy is to those on the autistic spectrum.”
