A father has told a court how his family’s festive season was ruined in 2014 when they were sent “revenge porn” videos of one of his daughters as they sat down to their Christmas dinner.

Clive Weatherhogg is standing trial at Dundee Sheriff Court accused of co-ercing a woman into having sex with a man he found over the internet, making them film their liaisons then sending the videos to the woman’s family.

The woman’s father, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told a jury today (Monday) that he, the victim, his other daughters and his grandchildren had gathered on Crhistmas Day 2014 for dinner.

But just as they went to sit down to the festive feast one of his other daughters received a text message containing a video of the victim having sex with Edward Amobi.

Mr Amobi earlier told the trial how Weatherhogg had set up a string of hotel sex liaisons between him and the woman, as well as making demands for him to buy a “male chastity device” for Weatherhogg and asking to sit tied to a chair in the room while they had sex.

The father of the victim (69), told the court the mood at the dinner was already “subdued” as it was the family’s first Christmas since the loss of his wife.

He said: “All the family were there.

“We were just about to sit down for our meal when one of my daughters got a text with the video.

“She told [the victim] about it and the girls all went to a room.

“She was very upset, but they managed to keep what it was about from the children.

“Some people didn’t eat any Christmas dinner after that.

“My daughter [the victim] was crying. The kids knew something was going on but not what exactly.

“The police were called and came out on Boxing Day.”

Fiscal depute Nicola Gillespie asked the man: “How would you describe your Christmas then?”

He said: “Not the best I’ve had anyway.”

Miss Gillespie: “What did you think of the fact he showed that video?”

He said: “It’s disgusting.”

Earlier the jury heard a string of extraordinary allegations, including that Weatherhogg wanted the pair to video call him during one of their romps and that when Mr Amobi turned down the suggestion of a threesome he asked for a video of a sex session.

The woman said Weatherhogg even specified positions for them to have sex in “like mechanical dolls”.

Mr Amobi added that he had later discovered a text on his wife’s phone from “Clive Cuckold” informing Mr Amobi’s wife of his romps with the woman.

In her evidence the woman said she felt “blackmailed” by Weatherhogg into having sex with Mr Amobi.

She added that Weatherhogg booked hotels for the pair and demanded photographs and videos as proof.

Weatherhogg (42), of Balmalcolm, pleaded not guilty on indictment to three charges under the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act, one under the Communications Act and one of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner.

The coercion is said to have taken place between September 10, 2013 and September 17, 2014 at addresses in Kent and Fife.

The videos were allegedly sent on December 22 and December 25, 2014 at addresses in north east Fife.

The trial, before Sheriff George Way and a jury of nine men and six women, continues.
