East Wemyss’ Jeeta Ouston is celebrating crossing the Forth Road Bridge in her wheelchair and, in doing so, raising £1500 for Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) UK.

CMT is an inherited neurological condition which Jeeta has and wanted to raise vital funds for the charity.

Her friend, Rick O’Toole, joined her, and while he doesn’t have CMT, he is also in a wheelchair.

Jeeta, who completed the feat in two hours 45 minutes, said: “This was the challenge I thought it would be and I ached all the next day. However, it was fantastic.”
