Firefighters called to Glenrothes flat blaze

Firefighters tackled a blaze in a Glenrothes flat on Saturday, 12 November 2011.

The alarm was raised over the fire at a house in Macedonia around 12.12pm.

Crews from Lochgelly and Kirkcaldy were called to the incident in the first-floor flat in Ettrick Way.

The firefighters had to wear breathing sets and use two hosereel jets to bring the fire under control, which was done by 12.29.

The cause of the fire is not known, but no one was hurt.
