Fife College’s St Brycedale campus will once again host the annual Kirkcaldy Food and Drink Fair this Saturday.

There will be an all day programme packed with activities, plus there will be stalls from a host of local food and drink producers and suppliers.

The event will be compered by Fife’s Food Ambassador, Christopher Trotter, who will also hold a cooking demonstration, along with top chefs Martin Hollis and Tom Pratt, plus the winner of ‘Masterchef: The Professionals’, Jamie Scott will return after proving to be a hit last year. All will concentrate on using local produce in their demonstrations.

There will also be plenty to keep the kids entertained with cupcake decorating workshops, plus they’ll be shown how to make a delicious healthy chicken nuggets.

And visitors can try a sample and find out more from some local businesses; up to 20 will have stalls set up for the day in the college’s atrium.

If you fancy a quick refreshment the college’s cafe will be open offering a selection of sandwiches, tea, coffee, beer and wine.

The event will run from 11am-4pm and it’s completely free.
