Val Verde are a five piece band from Dunfermline in Fife. Since the group formed they began building up a huge fanbase and went on to develop their music which has proved to be popular.

In 2010 the band released a double A- side (Glass Girl in a Cage/Home) which was championed through radio play on Clyde 1, BBC Radio 1 and various Jim Gellatly shows.

The following year the band went on tour after releasing their latest single “Because All Your Friends Were Idiots”.

The band have supported many established artists such as Idlewild, The Sunshine Underground, Twisted Wheel and Kassidy as well as selling out a headline show at Kings Tuts Wah Wah Hut, Glasgow.

The band has also played several locations throughout the UK such as Alan McGee’s Death Disco club night in London, The Soundcity Festival In Liverpool and the Britbus Tour.

The West Fife band also opened for Bon Jovi at Murrayfield in June, 2011.

They beat hundreds of bands to land the gig of a lifetime supporting the rock legends.

The members of Val Verde were Ryan Sharp on vocals, Robbie Laird on guitar, Kenny Patterson on bass, Kyle MacInnes on drums and Maggie Collie on keyboards.
