Award winning broadcaster, writer and journalist Lesley Riddoch will be at Anstruther Town Hall on July 29 for a special one-off appearance.
Lesley will be relating stories of all the Scottish people she’s met, people she describes as ‘the most stubborn, talented and resilient people on the planet’, and asking why, with an abundance of natural resources and a history of inventiveness, Scotland is still the ‘sick man (and woman) of Europe’.
She offers a plain-speaking call to restore control to local communities and let the nation flourish.
Signed copies of ‘Blossom’, Lesley’s powerful new book, which has been described by fellow Scot Elaine C. Smith as “brilliant, moving, well written, informative, important and valuable” will also be available to purchase on the evening.
Free tickets for ‘Blossom - An Evening with Lesley Riddoch’ may be obtained from eventbrite.co.uk – ‘Anstruther – Blossom an Evening with Lesley Riddoch’ or those interested in attending can telephone 01333 312710 to reserve your seat.
