Fife Council is closing a local link to Glenrothes to carry out drainage improvements.
Work was due to start on the rural C33 road between Auchmuir Bridge and the B921 Kinglassie Road on Monday, 5 March, and is expected to take up to two weeks to complete. In order to carry out the works safely, this section of road will be closed for the duration of the works. A diversion will be signposted on site via the B921 Kinglassie Road, Golf Course Road, Glenwood Road, Douglas Road and the A911 and vice versa. Access for the emergency services and residents will be maintained at all times.
