This year was a bumper one for Craigtoun Park, with around 140,000 visitors proving it the place to be over the summer.
But for the Friends of Craigtoun, keeping the park and its attractions in top condition relies on an army of helpers - and more are always needed.
The Friends of Craigtoun group has now designated ever Wednesday as volunteer day and inviting anyone with a few hours to spare to come along and muck in.
“This summer was a great one, with the number of visitors double what we had in our first year, and showed we were right in our belief that the park still had a great future,” said Kyff Roberts, chairman of the Friends.
Underlining the park’s popularity is a new Hallowe’en event - the 500 tickets sold out in weeks.
However, from until next Easter, when the 2015 season begins - the park itself is open all year round - there is a host of ongoing work required, such as getting the boats out the water for maintenance and re-carpeting the crazy golf.
“Easter seems like a long way off but we know from experience that it can come round very quickly,” Kyff said.
