The new Dunfermline Athletic manager has said he would not have taken the job at East End Park if he didn’t think the club could survive in the SPL.

Jim Jefferies was unveiled as the new manager of Dunfermline Athletic and has signed a fifteen month contract with the club.

Jefferies stated: “I’m delighted that I’ve got the opportunity to manage this club and I would not have taken the job if I did not think we can survive in the SPL. Initially the chairman and I discussed a contract for the last eight games of the season but as our conversations progressed I was offered a longer contract and after careful consideration, I was delighted to accept.”
