A NEW scheme which aims to support lone workers and new businesses has been launched in Kirkcaldy.

Evans Easyspace has set up ‘Just a Desk’ - an initiative which brings all the benefits of professional business space at just a fraction of the sole occupancy cost.

It is ideal for entrepreneurs and satellite workers who require full time office space.

Evans Easyspace, based in the John Smith Business Park, has designed co-working hubs within its centres to offer shared workspaces which not only benefit small and growing businesses financially, but also help entrepreneurs feel part of a community s.

Each ‘Just a Desk’ workstation includes a telephone line ready for telephone and broadband use. Users will also benefit from all centre facilities including reception, refreshment facilities, administration services, and meeting room hire.

Centre manager Shona Galloway said: “This is a brilliant opportunity for lone-workers or new business start-ups to gain all the benefits of a shared office at an affordable price.”
