Postcode Community Trust funding for award-winning Autism Rocks (Fife) has enabled the group to lease premises for a year-long venture – known as Kaleidoscope – to help families and carers in Levenmouth living with the effects of autism.

Over 60 people attended Kaleidoscope’s opening day in Buckhaven Parish Church Hall. The programme of events begins this month and is set to include training and awareness programmes, family days, pool parties, a weekly evening social event for teens and adults on the spectrum. “We will be opening three days a week as a drop-in for families affected by autism and also holding a summer activities programme,” said founder-chairman Liza Quin, pictured right.
