Secretary Allen Armstrong said: “Online, the petition
Reinstate the Thornton-Leven Rail Link www.gopetition.com is approaching 350 supporters, so we’d urge more to take a moment to sign on – our first target is 5000.
“Into high summer, it’s important the campaign does not ease off,” he added. “We need the momentum to keep rolling.”
Petitions were available around town or by visiting the LMRC office at 36 College Street, Buckhaven.
Mr Armstrong added the next LMRC meeting would be at 6.30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30 at Fife Renewables Innovation Centre in Methil.
