The Kingdom of Fife Railways Preservation Society is once again holding its Santa Special event.

This Sunday, the man in the red suit will arrive at the KFRPS yard – on the train of course! – at 11.00 a.m. before meeting the children, who will receive a Christmas gift, all included in the entrance fee.

The children will also receive a ride on the Santa Special train.

And parents won’t be forgotten – as well as a ride on the train, they will receive a welcome hot coffee or tea and a seasonal delicacy.

Jim Rankin, KFRPS said: “After the success of last year’s first attempt at this seasonal event, we felt we should try and build on it.”

The cost of the event this year is even cheaper than 2013 – just £5 for children and £3 for adults.
