The very first KSessions Live event is set to rock Society in Kirkcaldy this weekend.
The music event has been organised by community radio station K107fm accompanying the new show, KSessions on the channel.

KSessions provides a radio platform for local and national unsigned and emerging musical talent, alongside already established acts within the industry.
And show presenter Stephen Barbour hopes the live gig at Society in Charlotte Street, Kirkcaldy on Sunday, April 19 is the first of many.
He told the Press: “This first live event includes four amazing young acts, three from Fife and two of them from right here in Kirkcaldy.
“The event is free, we just ask, that people give a donation of their choice, that will go towards keeping Kirkcaldy’s community radio station up and running and I hope this will become a more regular event, perhaps every 12 weeks or so.
“I’m very excited by this project and I really would like it to be a huge success for all the young talent we have around these parts.”
Those acts playing this weekend are Freespeech, Lost in Vancouver, Annahar and Sorry Hollywood.
Stephen explained that the idea of a live music event at a local venue came about after launching the radio show and speaking to local musicians.
He said: “Since launching the KSessions show on K107fm, I have been blown away by the quality of the music being submitted by unsigned and emerging bands and singers and felt that although the show was, and is, doing a great part in promoting them, some of these acts really have to be seen and heard live to really get the feel of them and just how good they really are.
“So along with the show and live sessions in the studio, I grabbed the opportunity to also provide a live stage for the bands and singer to do their thing and for people to come along and enjoy the fantastic talent of them all.”
Stephen can be heard on the KSessions radio show on Thursdays at 8.00 p.m on K107fm. This week he will be joined by one of the bands ahead of this Sunday’s live event.
The KSessions Live event takes place at Society on Sunday, April 19 from 7.00 p.m.
