Sarah MacDonald, Living Lomonds community participation and training manager, said: “We hope to support a real variety of activities from re-enactments, food events and heritage art and craft activities to publications, exhibitions and musical performances.”

Funding is available to constituted groups to deliver an event or activity within the Living Lomonds area, which includes the parishes of Markinch, Leslie, Strathmiglo, Benarty, Falkland and Portmoak.

Funding can be accessed for one off events or a series of activities anything that gets people involved and interested in our place or local heritage.

Ed Heather-Hayes, Living Lomonds project manager said: “The Living Lomonds project is grounded in the landscape and heritage of the Lomond and Benarty Hills. We are looking forward to receiving our first applications and to see what ideas local groups have and how we can support them.”

“Living Lomonds staff are welcoming applications from this month and with the first closing date for applications being April 17 we would love to hear about your ideas for an activity. Come and tell us about it and Let’s Celebrate together!”
