Leven’s golf clubs are staging another training session in the use of the new defibrillators at the links venues.

Leven Thistle and Leven Golfing Society, managed by the Leven Links Joint Committee, launched the local defibrillator campaign last year so that potentially life-saving equipment would be available should anyone suffer a heart attack or cardiac arrest while out playing golf, bowling, or walking nearby.

The session will be at Leven Thistle GC in Balfour Street on Thursday, May 14 at 11.00am.

Training will be done by the Scottish Ambulance Service and is intended for Leven Links greenkeeping staff, all golfers and members of the public.

Staff and golfers from Scoonie Golf Club have also been invited, while spectators are welcome.
