Lidl has recalled its Deluxe Mature Cheddar with Pickled Onions and Chives because of a health risk.
The product has been found to contain undeclared presence of sulphites, which is not mentioned on the product packaging.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites.
The supermarket chain, which has a number of stores across Fife, has recalled the 100g product which has the use by date of June 8, 2015.
The Food Standards Agency has advised anyone who has purchased the product and has a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites not to eat it. Instead, individuals can return the product to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
