Potentially life-saving defibrillators have been installed in a number of East Neuk communities – with Elie among the latest recipients. Pictured with one , from left, are Jim Robertson, chairman of Elie and Earlsferry Community Council, council member Carol Birrell and Gillian Duncan, of East Neuk First Responders. Located on the west side of the bus shelter on Toll Green, the defibrillator, with easy-to-follow instructions can be used, by anybody, if someone has a heart attack and needs immediate attention. A second defibrillator is due to be installed in Earlsferry later this year.
