A 100-strong group of American singles descended on St Andrews as part of a golfing tour of Scotland.
They are all members of the American Singles Golf Association (ASGA) and all excited to be visiting the Home of Golf.
“We have 3000 members in 75 cities in the US,” explained ASGA president Tom Alsop, who led the trip. “We’re all single, we play golf and find that it’s a great way to meet other singles.”
During their stay in Fife the golfers, who came from across the States, took the opportunity to play Kingsbarns, Kittocks, and experience golf the old-fashioned way with hickory shafts at Kingarrock, before moving on to Gleneagles and Edinburgh.
