Follow the East Neuk Open Studios Red Balloon trail on the weekends of May 24-25 and May 31-June 1 – where you’ll discover over 35 talented artists from East Neuk Open Studios (ENOS) opening their studio doors to welcome visitors and to demonstrate and talk about their work.

There will be an exciting and affordable range of paintings, textiles, prints, jewellery, photographs, ceramics and furniture on sale or for commission.

Now in its 11th year, a new team at the helm has given ENOS a timely facelift, as well as updating the website and brochure with a refreshing new design, placing more emphasis on the artists and their work.

There is some excellent new talent joining the ENOS line-up, giving visitors and art lovers an even greater reason to visit the East Neuk this summer.

New artists this year include Frazer Reid in Crail, maker of bespoke hand made furniture and wooden surf boards; Sean Dooley in Cellardyke, photographing thought-provoking portraits and still lives; Marlene Patrick in Pittenweem, painting colourful canvases featuring quirky Wemyss cats; John Kelly in Cellardyke who draws and paints a personal interpretation of the East Neuk; Stephen Harrison’s atmospheric coastal and urban landscapes and Yolandé Kenny, also in Cellardyke, producing oil paintings and drawings of people and animals.

In St Monans, discover Ann Watson’s bright mixed media collages.

Red balloons on maps indicate each artist’s open studio – stretching from Upper Largo to Crail via Boarhills and Cellardyke. Get further details about all artists on the new ENOS website.
