Big crowds from Leven to Cellardyke welcome the Commonwealth Baton

Waiting for Video...

Hundreds of people turned out to catch a glimpse of the Queen’s Commonwealth Baton as it made its way from Leven to Cellardyke on Thursday.

Big crowds were gathered on the streets of Leven, Pittenweem, Anstruther and Cellardyke, with many waving flags and balloons and cheering on all of the baton bearers.

The sun was shining as a total of 23 lucky people were given the great honour of carrying the baton through the towns and villages of Levenmouth and the East Neuk.

Thousands of Fifers turned out all over the Kingdom as the baton visited Fife, before making its way to Dundee on Friday and Angus on Saturday.
