Big Tent tickets go on sale

THE Big Tent eco festival has released early bird tickets with 10 per cent off for advance bookings for this year's event, which takes place from July 23-25.

Set on Falkland Estate against the stunning backdrop of the Lomond Hills, 2010 is the event's fifth anniversary.

Organised by Falkland Centre for Stewardship, the three day festival is family-friendly and packed with a range of great activities.

This year will have a real tented-village feel and visitors will be able to explore at their leisure whilst experiencing a myriad of themes, topics and entertainment.

There will be thought-provoking environmental perspectives and intelligent, lively debate for anyone interested in getting into the nitty gritty of global issues.

Helen Lawrenson of event organisers Falkland Centre for Stewardship said: "We are delighted to announce that early bird tickets are now on sale for this year's Big Tent and these can be purchased via our website on Ticketmaster.

"Last year's event was a sell out and we'd really like encourage people to book their tickets well in advance to secure their place.

"Big Tent is a flagship event in Fife's 2010 Year of Culture and is sure to be extremely popular."

Further information of the Big Tent programme will be announced in due course.
