Budding entrepreneurs from Balwearie
Limitless Balwearie High School's Young Enterprise team which won the regional competition
Limitless, the Young Enterprise company of Balwearie High School, has won the prestigious regional heat of the annual schools’ competition.
The company, which has been trading for almost a year, makes recycled costume jewellery rings from Scrabble tiles.
Funding for the company was raised through events co-ordinated and run by the team of S6 pupils.
They took their rings to the annual trade fair in Glenrothes at Christmas, where they proved very popular.
The directors wrote a company report and attended a presentation event when members demonstrated the hard work, commitment and fun they had enjoyed, with the professional help and advice from business advisor Alison Smith of AS Consultancy.
The company was awarded three prizes: Best Company Presentation, Best Innovative Business and Overall Best Company for the Fife Board, from 15 participating companies.
Limitless will now compete in the Scottish finals in Glasgow on June 12.
