CANONGATE Primary recently entered the David Findlay Rosebowl competiton, run by the Scottish Country Dance Association.

And the youngsters were on sparkling form, being awarded first prize for their exceptional dancing skills in the Open category.

Teams from across Fife and Tayside were invited to the competition, which is held annually with various four different age categories.

The dancers have now been invited back to another Scottish country dance festival on March 16 – this is purely a fun festival that anyone can enter and go along to.

Further details can be obtained from Helen Lawrenson, chairperson of the RSCDS Dundee Branch 01382 541412.
