Concern at killer’s move

A COMMUNITY council in West Fife held an emergency meeting after a criminal from Levenmouth was moved to their community.

In 2008, David Craigie was jailed after admitting killing girlfriend Sonya Todd at Stewart Court in Methil.

Craigie pleaded guilty to a charge of culpable homicide after doctors concluded Sonya’s diabetes played a part in her death after he beat the 21-year-old with a dog chain.

Residents in High Valleyfield were concerned when he was moved there following his recent release.

It’s believed Craigie may have now moved on from the village.
