The Rotary Club of Anstruther has extended its congratulations to Crail Primary School for an outstanding performance in the annual Rotary Primary Schools Quiz, an event which has now been running for over 25 years.
The Crail team took a hugely successful and very well deserved second place in the finals of the competition in Aberdeen.
Other parts of Rotary in the UK run similar events but this one is unique, attracting so many schools from such a large geographic area.
This year, over 500 teams from all over the north and east of Scotland took part, with the 16 finalists from as far afield as the Isle of Skye, Inverness and Fife.
Anstruther club president Alastair Graham said: “We are very proud of every pupil who took part. The standard of the competition is exceptionally high and we are delighted to see Crail right up there at the very pinnacle of achievement.”
