Fife community gardeners are getting set for their expedition to Chelsea later this month, which a combined team from St Monans, Kinghorn, St Andrews and Falkland will be taking part in a garden at the Chelsea Flower Show.

They are working with a team from the south-west of England to create a garden celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Britain in Bloom campaign.

Kinghorn in Bloom chairman Suzanne Gilfeather said: “This is a great opportunity to show off what Fife has to offer, we are all bringing our own community identities to Chelsea. It will be hard work but a great experience to bring back.”
