Ghostly goings on at Kellie Castle

Kellie Castle

Kellie Castle

WILL the ghost of James Lorimer, who restored Kellie Castle in the 19th century, make an appearance during a Hallowe’en event to be held there?

James Lorimer’s ghost is said to regularly take a seat in one of the main corridors, while a lady by the name of Anne Erskine has been seen and heard walking the main stairs.

Whether or not either make an appearance during a guided Hallowe’en walk is up to them, but the only way you’ll know for sure is if you snap up a ticket and head along yourself.

Tickets for the ghost walk, which will take place on October 26, cost £8 for adults and £5 for children.

A family ticket can also be bought.
