Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 02:49 PMI agree, lovely, purpose built construction and well done to the construction companies, they don't get enough credit when a job is well done, that seems to be the domain of the politicians and other hangers on. The cost savings also need to reflect the running down costs of a modern hospital in the Queen Margaret and the endless fiasco regarding parking, as I suppose that the planners all believe that people can get on their bike or get public transport when they need it. Good luck to the professionals and keep the politicos out of the limelight. p.s. I hope never to set foot in the hospital for any reason as the journey time is a major problem.

Friday, November 18, 2011 at 03:07 PMCongratulations to all concerned in the construction of this magnificent building, an excellent example of good management. Politicians please take note. Within budget and on time and no subsidies unlike the recent fiascos involving tramlines and inefficient and costly Wind farms. P.S. I would have thought that this excellent article would appear under the Kirkcaldy and Burntisland section.

Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 09:21 AMFantastic stuff. Hopefully will be helping the people of Fife for a very long time to come. Built on time, and on budget. Now you never heard that happening with anything the Labour Party touched. Their PFI disasters have meant that over Scotland, we will be paying back billions for hospitals and other buildings with 25 year mortgages costing £800,000 in interest annualy alone! The way this building has been built should be a good baseline for future projects across Scotland.
